Writing Circle

For those interested in writing, critique, and literary experimentation, we host a separate Writing Circle — a private space for original work, feedback, and occasional existential spiraling. To join, assign yourself the writing circle role in #roles to gain access.

We welcome short stories, poetry, essays, scripts, creative nonfiction—basically anything short-form and word-count-friendly.

This space is a little more structured and requires a higher level of commitment than the general club. Members are expected to provide feedback as well as submit writing during each session.

  • Writers are placed into rotating critique groups.
  • Each round includes 1.5 months for writing and 2 weeks for feedback.
  • Prompts are inspired by the books we read, but interpreted creatively.
  • Constructive feedback is expected — both as analysis and writing critique.
  • Optional workshops are also held throughout the round.
