Creative projects, events, and outings
Beyond our core reading and writing focus, Literary 1984 occasionally organizes fun, themed, or collaborative activities. These include:
- Visiting stage productions or film adaptations of books we’re reading (e.g., Les Misérables at DPAC, The Odyssey when it releases)
- Organizing club-wide workshops and planning sessions
- Working on long-term creative projects like podcast episodes, YouTube videos, or literary essays
- Hosting themed discussion nights, mock trials, debates, or fan culture events to celebrate finishing up a work/novel!
Participation is optional, and ideas are always welcome. If you have something fun or ambitious in mind, pitch it — we’ll help you make it happen.
