Have something you want us to read?

Fill out the form below to add a book to our club list. All you need is the title, the author, and your name as the recommender — though we love when people include tags, notes, or context for why the book matters to them.

Once submitted, your book will automatically be added to our list and placed “In Rotation.”
For full submission guidelines (and what not to do), check out our Book Submission Rules at the bottom of this page (under the submission form).

Book List Rules

If you are adding a book directly in the google sheet rather than using the submission form above, please follow the instructions listed below:

You can add any literary work at any time.

Google Sheets automatically sets the ID field, please do not try editing this as it will throw an error.

The only requirement is that each entry needs three pieces of information: the title, the author, and your name as the recommender.

While these are the only mandatory fields, we encourage you to share additional thoughts and insights about your recommendation using the optional fields (including tags, type, year, and notes).

The status of your newly added work is automatically placed in ‘In Rotation’ by the sheet, so no need to worry about that.

You’ll find drop-down menus for tags (like ‘philosophical’ or ‘dystopian’), type of work (such as ‘novel’ or ‘essay’), and recommender (your name).

If you don’t see the option you need in these drop-down menus, feel free to add new ones (but don’t duplicate any pre-existing entries)! Please do not add duplicates of any work already on the list.

Auto-Sorting Notice
When you add a title, the sheet automatically places it in “In Rotation” and re-sorts the list, which may cause your entry to move higher up before you’ve finished filling out all the details. If this happens, simply scroll up to find your entry and complete the remaining fields. I’m aware of this issue and working on a fix, but for now, this will continue to happen—thanks for your patience!
