Do I have to attend every meeting?
Nope! Join when you can. Some members attend every session; others drop in once a month. All levels of participation are welcome.
Can I submit more than one book to the list?
Yes! Add as many as you would like, whenever inspiration strikes!
How do I get involved in the Writing Circle?
Assign yourself the role in #roles, then check out the private channels. Everything you need to know will be pinned.
Is there a limit to how many books we read?
We read one main book at a time, but we sometimes pair it with a short story or side read.
What if I fall behind on the reading?
No worries — read at your own pace. You can still join meetings or share thoughts in the server.
How do I submit a book?
Use the Book Selection List, and follow the format in the Rules doc linked above.
What if I want to recommend a book we’ve already read?
You’re welcome to nominate it again, but we usually focus on new reads unless there’s strong demand for a reread.
Do I have to be super analytical?
Nope. Impressions, emotions, and memes are just as welcome as deep analysis.

Can I host an event or plan something?
Absolutely. Members are encouraged to pitch ideas — the weirder the better.
Is this club okay for busy people or students?
Yes! Everything is designed to be flexible and low-pressure. Join when you can, skip when you need.
What if I’m new to literary analysis or writing?
You’re more than welcome here. We value curiosity over credentials — and everyone improves by participating.
How do I become a mod?
Just be active, thoughtful, and consistently engaged in the club. We notice.
Will I get kicked out if I disappear?
Only if it’s been multiple months (or several full books) without any engagement at all. We just want to keep the server intentional.
Can I come to meetings if I haven’t finished the reading?
Yes! Just be mindful of spoilers, and feel free to listen, contribute partially, or just vibe.
Can I invite a friend?
Yes — just make sure they’re interested in literature and vibe with the club culture. If they’re not into it, no hard feelings!
